Check-In Manual, Queue of Passengers at Soetta Airport snaking

JAKARTA – The management of Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta) claims that the application for Protective error or cannot be used. As a result, airplane passengers who want to fly are diverted by manual checking.

Executive General Manager PT Angkasa Pura II Soetta Airport, Agus Haryadi said, because the PeduliLindung application could not be used, the passenger departure process was carried out manually. “Manually regulated,” he told rri.co.id, Monday (4/10/2021).

Added Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal PT Angkasa Pura II Soetta Airport, M Holik Muwardi, the disruption of the PeduliLindung service has also triggered a queue of prospective passengers. “But not until there is a buildup of passengers, we can handle the problem manually,” concluded Holik.

According to him, the process of collecting vaccine data and PCR evidence of airplane passengers is carried out by means of: print-out. This method is quite time consuming when compared to using the PeduliLindung application which only takes a few seconds.

“But in principle the queue of passengers has been resolved,” said Holik. He admits that the problem with the Cares Protect application is that error it has happened several times at Soetta Airport. However, he stated that the application problem was not the domain and authority of PT Angkasa Pura II.

“We only address and find solutions to the impact when the application is not accessible,” he said. Holik hopes that the competent authorities can evaluate and improve the PeduliLindung application so that errors do not return, so that the departure process for airplane passengers at Soetta Airport runs smoothly.

It is known, since August 1, 2021, prospective airline passengers are required to use the PeduliLindung application to process flight departures. PeduliLindung ensures that the process of validating aircraft passenger health documents at the airport is carried out digitally so that it is safer, faster, easier and strongly supports health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of Health Number 847/2021 concerning the Digitization of Health Documents for Air Transport Users who are Integrated with the PeduliLindung application. (E-4)
