Cheapest cellphone, Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The earliest circulating rumors about Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is claimed to be the cheapest 5G tech smartphone from Samsung. However, new information appeared in the list of China Compulsory Certificate (3C), which was reported that the cellphone would be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery.

In the certification site Galaxy A42 5G comes with the model number SM-A426B, with the mentioned EB-BA426ABY battery model with a power capacity of 4,860 mAh which indicates that the final battery capacity is 5,000 mAh. There is no other information on the list, but Samsung will use a lithium ion battery, the NDTV gadget said, July 25, 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G was first reported in late June by Sammobile, which stated that this phone had a model number of the SM-A426B. In addition to 5G technology, the manufacturer’s smartphone from the State of Gingseng is rumored to have 128 GB of internal storage space, and will be launched next year.

This smartphone will be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy A41 which was launched in March this year with a 3,500 mAh battery. This big jump is the battery capacity for the Galaxy A42, most likely because of 5G support. This also means that cell phones may have a relatively thicker form factor.

Interestingly, Samsung has begun to push battery 6,000 mAh on his cellphone so the decision to use 5,000 mAh may be due to space limitations. Until now, Samsung has not shared information about the existence of Samsung Galaxy A42.
