Cards with GeForce RTX 3060 cores officially went on sale last Thursday. Although the manufacturer announced the price of the reference model of CZK 8,800, the cards were significantly more expensive in domestic stores.

The reference model is not officially available in the Czech Republic, instead customers must be satisfied with modified models from Asus, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY or Zotac. However, they are already fundamentally improved – they have quieter cooling or overclocked cores for even higher performance.

However, due to improvements, individual companies charge significantly higher amounts for them. Most of the cards went on sale with a price tag of around CZK 14,000. But even that didn’t stop the cards from selling out literally in a few tens of seconds.

Some of the available models were bought by dealers who want even significantly higher amounts for the GeForce RTX 3060 card. Dozens of offers can be found on bazaars and various advertising servers, in which retailers usually want amounts of around CZK 25,000 for the resale of unpacked cards.

But there are also ads where dealers even want CZK 38,000. The price is close to the official price of the top version of the GeForce RTX 3090, which is also hopelessly sold out. It is not at all clear when another batch of cards will appear on store shelves.

Nvidia has a lot to look forward to with the new GeForce RTX 3060 core card – it could appeal mainly to players.

Currently, the most popular game graphics is the older GeForce GTX 1060 model, introduced in 2016. Its primacy could not be endangered by the twentieth generation, but the one with a thirty in the name could handle it. However, the performance of the new GeForce RTX 3060 has also increased up to tenfold.

This can be seen beautifully in the game Cyberpunk 2077, which squeezes the performance of even the latest graphics cards to the last drop. GeForce RTX 3060 has twice the rasterization power and up to ten times the ray-tracing power compared to GTX 1060. With the mentioned title Cyberpunk 2077, the manufacturer promises smooth play with the new card even at 60 frames per second, of course in Full HD resolution.
