This repeats the situation from last year, when GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards began to be offered in stores. Fans had to wait a few weeks for them after the official start of the sale – in the worst case, even a few months.

The GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, which is not as powerful as the two models mentioned above, but has a significantly more attractive price tag, was to start selling this Thursday. It can be purchased for as little as CZK 7,199, but with improved cooling and an overclocked chip, the price tag can double.

For comparison: Last year’s top model GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is currently offered in domestic stores from CZK 43,990, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti card will cost at least CZK 30,990. In order for retailers to be able to meet customer demand and not be bought in bulk by dealers and miners, most of them still have restrictions – the possibility of buying only one card per customer per month.

The same restriction can be expected for the new GeForce RTX 3050 when traders have it in stock.

For models with improved cooling or an overclocked processor, those interested in the GeForce RTX 3050 will pay extra for several thousand crowns.

What can modern graphics do?
GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is a remarkable addition to its price range. According to the manufacturer, it delivers up to 1.5 times the performance of the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and twice the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti released in 2017.

The RTX 3080 Ti is the most powerful graphics card for gamers in the world, because the RTX 3090 is not primarily aimed at gamers. For owners of the GTX 1080 Ti, the RTX 3080 Ti represents a twofold increase in performance. There is an even more powerful GeForce RTX 3090 card on the market, but it is not primarily intended for players.

Although the cheapest card in the RTX 30 series, the new GeForce RTX 3050 still builds on the same Ampere architecture as the more powerful brothers. As a result, the novelty should offer enough performance to play the latest titles with ray-tracing at more than 60 frames per second.
