Three new youthful figures in the urban genre officially presented themselves to open up a field in this industry, after receiving the support of a music businessman.
“Sonny”, born in the Dominican Republic; “Lilay”, originally from Panama; and, “Monarca”, also Dominican, released their own musical proposals.
“Here in Charlotte there is a lot of talent in the musical field and I want to give young Hispanics the opportunity to dedicate their time and effort, first to their regular studies and then to their career as artists,” said businessman José Frías.
“I was born to be among the greats of the urban genre,” said singer Sonny. For their part, Lilay and Monarca plan to release a new musical production, with Jamaican sounds and rhythms.
