Charles-Le Moyne Hospital prohibits visits

The Charles-Le Moyne Hospital is closing its doors to visits, due to increases in COVID-19 cases in the population and outbreaks in some care units.

This new directive has been in effect since January 7, until further notice.

This measure is taken in order to limit the risk of contamination for patients, but also to protect healthcare personnel.

Only humanitarian visits are permitted.

Supporting a person at the end of their life remains possible, one person at a time.

A parent or guardian can accompany a minor as well as a woman who visits the mother-child unit.
