Salmafina Sunan explained that she never considered her past to be a bad thing. Including when wearing the hijab when she was close to Taqy Malik, her ex-husband.
“I never considered my past and past religion to be bad. So it’s not something that should be erased forever,” wrote Salmafina on Insta Story, Sunday (23/8/2020).
Salmafina Sunan also revealed that her current existence as someone who has a new religion is a process from her past.
“If there wasn’t the old Salma, with the problems of living as a teenager, then maybe I wouldn’t accept Jesus as my Savior,” he said.
Salmafina Sunan decided to wear the hijab after marrying a Quran memorizer named Taqy Malik on September 18, 2017.
Five months later, Salmafina’s marriage ended in divorce. He also decided to change the appearance of his syar’i hijab.
Entering mid-2019, the public was shocked by the viral video of Salmafina Sunan wearing a cross necklace. He was seen holding hands while praying and crying.
This video raises suspicions that Salmafina Sunan has changed religions. But the father had denied the news.
“Hoax,” said Sunan Kalijaga in his statement.
It’s just that in the end Salmafina Sunan confessed that he had changed religions. This desire has even arisen for a long time.
“There is indeed a connection that cannot be deceived and it has been (felt) for a long time,” Alma told Feni Rose in a Rumpi broadcast on Wednesday (10/7/2019).
