Barella’s cross, then a lot of suffering and an amazing Pyatov in the final: first point for the Nerazzurri, who still don’t get involved

THE MATCH
A lackluster and a bit tired Inter are back with a point from Kiev at the end of an evening in chiaroscuro. The Nerazzurri play on par with their opponents in the first half, not letting the Ukrainian-Brazilian possession get in the way and even touching the goal on a couple of occasions. In the second they are forced to entrench yourself in your own trocar, when De Zerbi’s men raise the pace of the dribble and bring out all their qualities. The final jolts are mainly the result of one long bench again (thanks to the returns of Correa and Sanchez), which allows Inzaghi to let Dzeko and Lautaro catch his breath (in the evening so-so) and play the cards that could also give a success in extremis, really missed by a whisker. Now two matches with the Sheriff with the aim of getting 6 key points to overcome a group that remains far from impossible.
The first big chance of the evening is for Shakhtar, with one shaved by Solomon’s edge hissing next to the pole to Handanovic’s right. At 11 ‘ De Zerbi loses Traoré through injury: the knee of the burkinabé striker ends up under Dumfries’ body in a game clash, leading to an unnatural twist that forces him to go out on a stretcher (Tete in his place). Inter are struggling a bit to evade Shakhtar’s excellent dribble, but as soon as he manages to create some space he immediately becomes dangerous and in the 15 ‘ Pyatov has to thank the crossbar on the splendid right to turn from outside of Barella. The game is kept on an extremely precarious balance, but if on the one hand the Shakhtar manages to sink with a certain continuity, on the other Inter almost never manages to involve Dzeko and Lautaro in the maneuver. The Bosnian has a ‘great chance on the developments of a corner, but from two steps it kicks to the stars throwing it to the wind. In the final part of the fraction the rhythms drop and the teams are content to go to rest on a 0-0 all in all right.
At the start of shooting immediately a big fright for the men of Inzaghi, with Cabinet that yes he immolates in a slide to anticipate Pedrinho on Dodo’s very dangerous cross. Dodo 7 – Uncontainable in his thrusts to the right, he is by far the most active man in Shakhtar, even if the amount of play created only rarely turns into truly sensational chances.
Solomon 6,5 – Dangerous especially in the first half with his initiatives starting from the left and returning to the right, he drops a bit in the second half, but overall he is the one who creates the most apprehensions for Handanovic.
Tete 5,5 – He enters cold after 11 ‘due to Traore’s injury, but never really enters the game, effectively making the team miss a real attacking terminal.
Skriniar 7 – Giant defensive by winning all physical duels and never making a mistake in advance. The team suffers, but if they risk little and nothing, it is above all thanks to him.
Dzeko 5 – Too out of the game, too little involved in the construction of the offensive maneuver and also the author of some technical errors not from him. It also devours the chance of 0-1 kicking the corner developments in the first half skyrocketing.
Dumfries 6 – He plays an excellent game on the defensive level, but in an evening in which three points were fundamental it was legitimate to expect something more in the push phase.
