In the F-group, Cristiano Ronaldo saved Manchester United on Atalanty Bergamo (2: 2) with two goals in the set time of both halves.

A free kick just outside of the visitors’ penalty area after 5 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Scott McTominaya got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. Atalante’s first chance came close to leveling the score after 12 minutes with Josip Iličič. The goal was also confirmed by VAR. The guests then worked out several chances and turned into a beautiful action from the set time to equalize, when Bruno Fernandez pushed the ball to Ronald with a heel in the penalty area.

In the 57th minute, he got back into the lead home.
