Elected Marshal by majority, the opposition disputes
The appointment is independent of the Chadian army, it is a civil consecration, but the opposition does not seem to accept this parliamentary decision. The leader of the opposition thinks that “when we talk about a marshal today in Africa, we think of Bokassa, we think of Idi Amin, we think of Mobutu, a wacky character. But unfortunately for us, the ruling party shows that Chad is at this level because President Déby, chief of the armies, does not need another title, was he honorary ”.
