CEO Nak-Yeon Lee’s’Amnesty’… Inside the ruling party, dissenting opinions continue

After Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon announced that he would suggest pardons for the two former presidents to the president, the wave has continued for the second day in politics. The opposition party doesn’t even make an official position, and it’s embarrassing, but the inside is the same. Despite the proposal from the ruling party’s representative, criticism is growing from the inside as’inappropriate’.

Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon pulled out a former president’s pardon card on the basis of’national integration’.

But within the party, opposition continued today.

Rep. Minsuk Ahn said on social media, “Amnesty lottery is a betrayal to the candlelight people.”

Choi Jong-min Kim expressed regret, saying, “There was no procedure for collecting opinions from the leadership in advance.”

Nearly 40,000 people a day agreed to the Cheong Wa Dae petition saying’I oppose the amnesty of the two former presidents’.

It doesn’t even fit the justification of’national integration’, and it’s too early to mention amnesty.

A key party official explained that it was an’inevitable choice’, saying, “Because it is an issue that will be discussed in January, the intention was to relieve the burden on the president.”

He added that the proposal will be “after the sentence of former President Park Geun-hye’s reconsideration.”

The confusion is the same with the conservatives.

This is because Kim Jong-in, chairman of the National Power of the People’s Forces, apologized to the public against the two presidents for the past two months, so it is not easy to actively welcome the issue of passport launch.
