ICT supplier Centric wants to recover 60 million euros in loss of turnover from the ex-girlfriend of CEO Gerard Sanderink. That amount comes on top of the amount that the company already demanded from Brigitte van Egten. It would be lost income due to the loss of customers and tenders.

According to Het Financieele Dagblad Centric says it wants to recover lost revenue. The company did so during a court hearing that played this week. It would be the fuss within the company that arose, among other things, after CEO and founder Gerard Sanderink got involved with ‘cybercharlatan’ Rian van Rijbroek. Ever since her involvement with the company Sanderink would have a fight with the top of the company. This includes Sanderink’s ex-girlfriend and business partner Brigitte van Egten. Centric has accused her of theft in various lawsuits, but that claim has also been rejected several times by the judge.

Centric has had many problems in recent years due to all this unrest, including with customers. For example, De Nederlandsche Bank extended his contract in March not with Centric. Centric previously wanted to have the assets of Brigitte van Egten seized. That would be 1.96 million euros, but Centric now says that it has lost a lot more money in the lawsuit due to its alleged mismanagement.

The company says it has lost a total of 60 million euros in turnover due to the quarrels and public lawsuits between Sanderink and Van Egten. Those quarrels would have caused customers to leave and Centric would have missed new tenders. Centric would now like to recover almost all of its loss of turnover in 2019 and 2020 from Van Egten.

The claim stands out because Centric has maintained for years that the quarrel between Sanderink and Van Egten was a private matter that had nothing to do with Centric. Now the quarrel would have had an impact on the company. centric confirms that in a message on the website. Gerard Sanderink is no longer on the board of Centric since the beginning of 2021, although he still has shares in the company. According to Centric, the contract with De Nederlandsche Bank was recently extended for a period of fifteen months.
