Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) assessed the side effects of some reports of blood clots caused by the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine as not causing serious problems.

Previously, the US federal health agency suspended the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after discovering the side effects of blood clots.

The US made this decision after receiving reports of blood clots from six women aged 18-48 years after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine injection.

One woman was even reported to have died after experiencing a blood clot and another woman was in critical condition in hospital.

The six women reportedly experienced these side effects after six to 16 days of vaccination.

So far, experts fear a vaccine-induced immune system response is the cause of blood clots.

The FDA suspended the use of this vaccine on the recommendation of the CDC.
