Last week at CD Project RED two class action suits were filed after unsuccessful launch of console versions Cyberpunk 2077 with accusations that the developer “made false and misleading statements for the market”, Which led to losses for the company’s investors.
CD Projekt RED posted a response in the form of a regulatory notice on their website, in which they confirm the pending legal action. This is a standard regulatory statement, but the developers reassure that they “will take vigorous action to defend against any such claims».
Despite good sales and critical reviews for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077, the console versions of the game have been widely criticized for serious technical problems.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. CD Projekt RED recently confirmed that the first expansion will launch in early 2021.
