Cause of traffic collision flees hospital from ambulance | Inland

An accident took place in Rijen in Brabant around 10:20 p.m. The suspect is believed to have been involved in overtaking. He collided head-on with a car driven by a 53-year-old Rotterdammer. Both drivers were taken to hospital for examination. The Tilburger ran off when he got out of the ambulance. Officers found him shortly afterwards in the parking garage of the hospital.

The man was found to have used drugs. At first he denied that he had driven himself, but eventually he came back to it. He was allowed to surrender his driver’s license immediately.
