They were a few dozen in Dijon, this Sunday, to demonstrate in favor of the resumption of mass, suspended because of the epidemic.

“Give us back mass”. It is by singing this slogan that practicing Catholics demonstrated at the Place de la Liberation, Sunday, November 22 in Dijon, to make their voices heard. They want to return to their Sunday mass, so far banned for health reasons.
They denounce an attack on the freedom of worship and point out an essential need, that of communion. For these faithful there is no health risk in going to church.
“In the Christian religion, the Mass and the Eucharist are the summit of our faith, and it is there that we are in the presence of God”, justifies one of the demonstrators.Jean Castex, when he came to Dijon on November 21, spoke of a resumption of worship around December 1. All those present this Sunday in Dijon hope to return to church next Sunday, November 29, the first Sunday of Advent.
