Mach made the collage of the 19-year-old NVA police officer Conrad Schumann (photo: Peter Leibing on August 15, 1961) jumping over wire netting in Berlin from packaging film. He saw the motif as suitable for the digital exhibition “ApART Together – Separated and Yet Together”, which has been showing works of art from Ingolstadt and its partner cities since the end of May. A catalog has now been published for the informative exhibition (https: // www. Ingolstadt. De / aparttogether) that can be viewed digitally (htttps: // www. Ingolstadt. De / Kultur / Ingolstadt-international /) and as a print edition is available from the Department for Culture and Education (e-mail: international @ ingolstadt. de). bfr
