The French castle has been in the possession of the Meiland family since 2019, but have now rather lost it than become rich. Martien, Erica and Maxime now live in the Netherlands again, but the castle has been for sale for quite some time. Due to the corona crisis, no viewings could take place and no buyer has yet been found. According to Famous Neighbors the Meilandjes have therefore lowered the price.

The Meilandjes would have lost a lot on the asking price and would already be satisfied with 998,000 euros for the castle, instead of the previously stated 1.25 million euros. It is no secret that the sale of the chateau is not going well. In Chateau Meiland Erica and Martien already told that they are considering shooting another season in the castle if it is not sold.
