Castelnau Montratier-Sainte Alauzie. The operational health center

The Castelnau-Montratier health center is now operational. It is open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Outside opening hours, a telephone answer is provided on 09 71 18 37 06. A young practitioner, Marion Duchêne, doctor employed by the Santé en Quercy blanc association which oversees the structure, will provide consultations and visits if necessary.

Temporarily installed at 9 rue de Lacavalerie, in a building of the former Ehpad, comfortably converted into several consulting rooms and a waiting room, the health center will eventually be able to accommodate up to four salaried doctors. Calls for applications are launched. The Health association in Quercy blanc, created under the aegis of the community of communes of Quercy blanc, is made up of three colleges: the primary care team, community elected officials or members of a commune of the intercommunality, and representatives of associations and elected officials from the wider living area in Tarn-et-Garonne. It is chaired by Danièle Fourniols. This tripartite organization is overseen by a board of directors made up of nine members: four from the first college, three from the second college and two from the third. Santé en Quercy blanc carries out two missions: the management of the health center and a broader mission of health actions with specific awareness-raising operations, such as this health rally for children “Move and share” which took place on June 12 in Castelnau-Montratier. Liberal health professionals will eventually be able to settle in the premises of the centre. Investments are supported by the intercommunality. This health program is part of the Small Towns of Tomorrow State system.
