The factory workers of Cikarang, Bekasi Regency were victims of it beatings done by colleagues. The victim was beaten until she bled.
The bloody incident was initially triggered due to a misunderstanding between the two sides. South Cikarang Police Chief Kompol Satirin said the incident happened on Wednesday (9/11/2022) at around 3:30 PM WIB. Police said the perpetrator with the initials MH did not accept being called ‘Boy’ by the victim, because the victim, in this case, was a new employee.
“Because this employee who is the victim is part of the control of the goods, if the perpetrator is part of the delivery of the goods. The delivery party (the perpetrator) is older, the victim calls ‘Boy’. I do not accept it, why do new people call old people that,” Satirin said when contacted detik comSaturday (12/11).
The perpetrator then got excited and invited the victim to fight. Also, the two agreed to meet outside the workplace to have a fight.
“Between the victim and the offender at the same company, the incident occurred outside the company due to an agreement to come home from work, fight outside,” he said.
In addition, colleagues of each of the perpetrators and victims also participated in the localization. As a result of the scuffle, the victim suffered several injuries to the body and was rushed to the hospital.
“One of them brought his friend. But to separate, there shouldn’t be any quarrels. Bring friends together. (The victim) while in the hospital, the wound is still not clear,” he explained.
End of peace
Police went directly to the TKO after the incident to break up the fight.
The two were advised to make a police report but were refused on the grounds that it would be resolved amicably.
“When the incident happened, the offender went directly to the TKP, we suggested making a report, but there was no information. I tried to contact the victim about his condition, the problem needs to be resolved. (The victim chose) Peace, and it won’t make trouble for the police,” he explained.
The perpetrator is also known to be responsible for the actions that have been committed. Satirin said the peace process between the two perpetrators took place today.
However, his party will ask for evidence for the existing problems to be declared solved.
“If there is peace, they say they have it, but I asked for proof. I cross-checked how things were going, in the end he said peace. However, the culprits are responsible”, he concluded.
