The Councilor for Festivities of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, Andrés Martín Casanova, he referred this Monday in Radio Club Tenerife to the challenges presented by one of the companies that has not won the public contest to take control of the concession of the security fences of the carnival ring and the stages of the party, and the later delay of the assembly.
Martín Casanova, although he acknowledges his ignorance about “assembly times”, make it clear that “the carnival stages are not in danger” and that there is a plan b on the part of the capital city council to ensure that, next Friday, February 21, the carnival facilities are ready.
What has happened, explains the Councilor for Fiestas, is the challenge presented by a company that had been in charge for the last 30 years of all the party setup and that this year “has not won the public contest”, and points out that “It has taken an extra effort.”
