Boss interview Manchester United leaked by fans. Legend Liverpool Jamie Carragher criticized it because it was considered too late.
MU is again highlighted by his fans because of the slow movement in the transfer market. When rival teams such as Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have moved, MU is still cool.
So far, United are still struggling with transfer rumors and they have lost several senior players, including Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
Even the targeted players refused to join like Jurien Timber for example. Of course this is not good for Erik ten Hag in starting his work as Manchester United manager next season.
There are concerns that the MU management does not want to spend a lot of money to bring in top players. This was later denied by MU CEO Richard Arnold.
Arnold immediately met some fans who came to the complex where he lived. The fans initially wanted to protest in front of Arnold’s house because MU did not move quickly to bring in players.
However, Arnold invited some of the fans to talk and assured them that the club had funds to spend on players. The video of the conversation then leaked on social media and went viral.
On the one hand, fans can still be optimistic that MU will improve. Meanwhile, on the one hand, this fan action was strongly criticized because they leaked the conversation which was actually classified as a secret.
“Fans always complain that they have difficulty meeting with club officials. This is the reason they don’t want to do it. Kudos to Richard Arnold,” said former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher criticizing the MU fans via his Twitter account.
