Carole Middleton: – Reveals details about the time with the grandchildren

There is always a great curiosity attached to any royal family. Who they are completely private and what they spend time withIn addition to royal duties, questions are likely to be asked by many.

For this reason, attention is often directed to people who can tell a little about the royal everyday life – and it is especially fun when the royals themselves share from everyday life.

Especially the family of Prince William (38) and Duchess Kate (39) have their eyes fixed – not just because of it ongoing conflict between William and Prince Harry (36) – but also because the duke couple, followed by their son Prince George (7), are expected to sit on the throne for many decades to come.

And now Kate’s own mother, Carole Middleton (66), fulfilled people’s wishes and shared a little from life with his five grandchildren.

Lots out

In a recent interview with Saga Magazine, reproduced by People, Carole could reveal what she usually does when she has visits from her grandchildren. As of now it is Kate and Williams’ child George, Charlotte (5) and Louis (3), as well as Pippa Middleton’s (37) children Arthur (2) and Grace (1 month), who spice up their grandmother’s everyday life.

Carole tells the magazine that she spends a lot of time out in the garden with the little ones, where they plant and control, just as a normal family would do.

– If I plant with my grandchildren, I like to have everything ready at such activity stations, with their own little shovel and pot, so they can start right away, she says.

The reason why the grandchildren get their own equipment to keep up with, is that they are not able to keep their concentration for long. For that reason, Carole has found herself having to think strategically, as all five are, after all, under eight years old.

– It’s not exactly that fun to have the kids over for an activity, so you just have to fool around and look for the right equipment and a place they can stay. They will lose interest, she says.

Likes to pig up

Furthermore, in the interview, Carole expresses that she believes it is important that the children grow up and learn to appreciate nature, and what allows them to get a little dirty on their clothes.

Duchess Kate herself has previously stated in the podcast “Happy Mum, Happy Baby” that she thrives best when she is out in the country with the children, where they can only pig to, according to People. Kate also paid tribute to her mother in the same podcast, too to have given her a good childhood.

– I had a very happy childhood. It was a lot of fun and I am very lucky to come from a wealthy family. My parents were very dedicated, Duchess Kate said in the podcast, according to Daily Mail.

She herself has stated that she wants to continue what she has learned from her parents to her children.

– What is best remembered are the simple things. I see that now with my own children. Life is so busy and distracting, and sometimes little things like watching the fireplace burn on a rainy day bring so much joy, she said, adding:

– I remember it from my own childhood, the little things, like going on a trip together. I try to do it with my own children.
