The fantasy series Row of Carnival will end after the second season, Prime Video announced Monday. The latest episodes will appear on the streaming service from February 17th.
In Row of Carnival Orlando Bloom plays a police detective in The Burgue. In that medieval-looking city, a series of murders are committed against mythical creatures. After all the oppression of her species, the fairy Vignette (Cara Delevingne) seeks revenge in the second season.
That sequel season had already been announced in 2019, even before the first episodes of Row of Carnival appeared. The script has since been revised. The crown crisis also caused delays, report sources a The Hollywood reporter.
Reviews for Row of Carnival turned out to be underwhelming in 2019, but audiences reacted mostly positively to the series. It is unknown how well the series was viewed. Streaming services usually don’t reveal much about their viewing data.
The second season of Row of Carnival consists of ten episodes in total. From February 17, two new episodes will appear each week.
