Former Rubin midfielder Carlos Eduardo stated that he did not mind returning to the Kazan club.
“I was very happy. I was very comfortable in the Muslim republic. I want to return to Rubin, ”Eduardo’s words are quoted on Anar Ibragimov’s channel on Yandex.Zen.
The Brazilian also called Russian President Vladimir Putin “a very right man.”
32-year-old Carlos Eduardo has been without a club since January 2019. The last midfielder team was the Brazilian Coritiba. Prior to that, the Brazilian played for Parana, Vitoria, Atletico Mineiro, Rubin, Flamengo, Hoffenheim and Gremio.
Carlos Eduardo joined Kazan Rubin from Hoffenheim in 2010 for € 20 million. During his appearances in a Russian club, the Brazilian took part in 46 matches and scored six goals. The player left the Kazan team in 2016.
