The men have Albanian nationality and have been arrested. That confirms police chief Eduard Sallent. “When the men were arrested, they said something about Islam, but we do not yet know their intentions,” said the regional police chief.

The two men are not known to the police as radicalized, according to Sallent. To find out what the motive of the men could be and to see if there is a link with religion, the police collaborate with all intelligence services.
