On Wednesday evening, a car drove into a house in Vølstadveien in Stavanger.
The Sør-Vest police district announced this at 7pm on Wednesday, while the emergency services were on their way to the scene.
There was only one person in the car, and the cause of the incident is unknown.
The driver is taken to the emergency room for a check-up, but appeared to be uninjured, according to the police.
The house, on the other hand, is in a worse condition, because the car has caused extensive damage, the police write in an update from the scene.
According to the police, the car went partly through the house wall and into a room.
– There were people in the house, but not in the damaged room, writes Sør-Vest police district further.
They conclude that it will be difficult to free the car.
