However, the real general satisfaction concerns the announcement of the big bad, Samuel Sterns, alias The boss interpreted by Tim Blake Nelson. He mutated at the end of The Incredible Hulk (2008) before being taken into custody by SHIELD. It’s Clayton Cortez, or as comic readers know him, Weapon H. Created in 2017 by Greg Pak and Mike Deodato Jr. in Totally Awesome Hulk n. 22, “Clay” was a mercenary who eventually developed a conscience and incurred Roxxon’s wrath. He was kidnapped and sold to Dr. Alba as part of the program lot H : an offshoot of the initiative Weapon X who gave birth to Wolverine.
Has receivedADN from Hulk Amadeus Cho, of the genetics of Old Logan and nanites of Lady Deathstrike. This led to him becoming a gray Hulk / Wolverine hybrid, taking full advantage of the Jade Giant’s powers, adamantium claws and bony protrusions like the Abomination.
In the comics, Leader goes after Clay, infecting him with a virus that instills a deep dislike for him in the process. Recently, Clay was able to transform into a version of The Leader in “Savage Avengers”, proving in passing that he possessed more grip on his body than one might suppose.
