A fifteen-year-old boy from Dordrecht has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the death of a seventeen-year-old boy on Friday evening in southeast Amsterdam. A suspect was also arrested on Sunday.
The victim was shot at the Haardstee in the Zuidoost district. He was so injured that he died instantly.
The prime suspect is sixteen years old and comes from Amsterdam. The second suspect presented himself at the police station on Monday afternoon. The two suspects are restricted, which means they can only have contact with their lawyer.
Shortly after the shooting, two people were arrested, but it turned out they had nothing to do with the incident. According to various media, he was the brother and a friend of the victim.
Police received a call around 10.30pm. It is still unclear exactly where the shooting took place. Police are investigating whether it was in a hall or a house, a spokesman says.
