The pedestrian, struck by a vehicle Tuesday in Peseux (NE), died, announced on Friday the Neuchâtel police. The victim, domiciled in Peseux, was a man in his fifties.
The pedestrian had been struck around 7 am by a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old motorist, who was heading in the direction of Neuchâtel. Seriously injured, he had been helicoptered to CHUV. An investigation was opened by the duty prosecutor to establish the causes of the accident. (Ps / nxp)
