The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has once again honored electronic innovations with awards – in six different categories. In the photography category, EISA awarded a total of 23 prizes. Canon and Sony share ten of them. Four other awards went to Nikon. The other prices are divided among the following providers: Dji, Eizo, Fujifilm, Nik Collection, Panasonic, Sigma and Tamron.
Canon is the most innovative
Canon received a total of six awards as the winner in the photography category. There was an EISA award for three cameras:
In addition, EISA awarded four Canon lenses with a total of three prizes. The Canon RF 70-200 millimeter F2.8L IS USM was named Lens of the Year 2020-2021 by EISA. Canon also received the award for the best standard lens with the RF 24-70 millimeter F2.8 IS USM. And last but not least, Canon won the award for the best lens innovation with the RF 600 millimeters and the RF 800 millimeters F11 IS STM. The two models are currently the lightest autofocus lenses.
Sony vlogs the best
Sony has received four awards in the photography category from EISA. Sony won the Best Full Frame Advanced Camera Award for 2020-2021 with the Alpha 7R IV. The EISA appointed the Sony Vlogging Camera ZV-1 on the best vlogging camera 2020-2021. According to Sony, this is the first time that the manufacturer has won an award in this category.

EISA also honored two Sony lenses. The Association gave Sony the award for the Super Telezoom Lens 2020-2021 for the FE 200-600 millimeter F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. Sony also won the prize for the best wide-angle lens 2020-2021 with the FE 20 millimeter F1.8 G lens.
