Jakarta, Selular.ID – Canon announced their latest project in the midst of working on a high end mirrorless called Canon EOS R3. Although it is still in the development stage, it is clear that this new mirrorless will be positioned above the EOS R5.
The appearance of this camera shape has also been seen. The EOS R3 looks solid with a built-in vertical grip for shooting in portrait and landscape orientations.
The body design and control layout is broadly similar to that of the EOS-1D X Mark III, Canon’s high-end professional DSLR, and the body features dust and water resistance.
Canon says that the EOS R3 will be the first camera to use a new 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with back lighting, and an image processor that will enable 30fps shooting with AF and AE tracking.
Canon is also touting the autofocus capabilities of the EOS R3. It is the company’s first digital camera with AF eye control, and the deep learning algorithm improves human subject recognition.
Unfortunately, Canon has not provided detailed specifications, let alone the price or release date. Let’s just wait together when Canon inaugurates its presence.
