PALAÙ COAHUILA.- The 27th clinic of the Social Security in this Mineral starts today the day of timely detection of breast cancer for women 40 years of age and older, or younger if they have a history of this disease in their direct family, they gave it to meet this Tuesday the social worker of this hospital Mónica Ramírez.
He said that thanks to the support of the State Government this Wednesday the mobile mastgrapher is installed in the IMSS of Palaú for the practices of timely detection of breast cancer in the female population entitled to this health institution.
He pointed out that women should go to the preventive medicine module with their appointment card and their voter ID card and its validity, so that they can take the exam, remembering that it should be performed every two years, because only timely detection is the basis for winning the battle against this disease, which in Mexico is one of the leading causes of death among women.
Mónica Ramírez pointed out that the actions start from eight in the morning and until eight at night and that the goal is to practice about 30 exams during this single day that the Mobile Unit will be with the mastògrapher at the IMSS of Palaú, therefore that the invitation is to the right holders so that they do not miss the opportunity to go to have their mammography to detect breast cancer in early stages or in their home rule out that they carry it, said the Social Worker of the IMSS in this Mineral.
