The elections of the Epirus Solid Waste Management Agency were shaken by the decision of the Decentralized Administration of Epirus in Western Macedonia to cancel the election of the representatives of the Municipality of Ioannita to the Board of Directors of FODSA.
We are talking about the appeal she filed against her election to the FODSA Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Mayor of Ioannina, Thomas Bega. The application was submitted on behalf of Mr. Ioannis Aivatidis, the municipal councilor of the main opposition of the Municipality of Ioannito.
The application was rejected due to illegal involvement, however, with the ex officio investigation, the decision of the City Council of Ioannina on the election of representatives to FODSA was canceled “for the violation of the law and an essential type of procedure- work”.
