After seventeen years as President of the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors in Cancale and its surroundings (Saint-Méloir, Saint-Coulomb, Saint-Benoit and La Fresnais), Rémy Pingault passes the baton to Laurence Penvern. Victor Renou and Lisabelle Thébault were elected Treasurer and Secretary respectively. “I am committed, with you, to providing the best possible service to help organize collections at the French Blood Establishment (EFS) and to promote donations essential to life. » The President recalls that blood donation is a generous and civic act that society needs, “particularly at the moment because stocks are low and needs are many. » But she regrets that “collections in the north of the department are reduced”. Thus, on the territory, there will only be 5,000 in 2022, namely Cancale on April 13, July 19 and August 24 and La Fresnais on August 10 and December 6. “I would like to thank the whole team and the various contributing municipalities for their commitment. The Amicale is a fundamental mission to be preserved”, concluded the new president.
