“So the current hepatitis ABCDE vaccine, namely A and B, can only protect against hepatitis A and B infections in the world,” said dr. Fajri on his personal Instagram, quoted on Sunday (15/5/2022).

He further said that hepatitis A and B vaccines have not been able to fight the mysterious hepatitis that is currently developing. Moreover, according to him, the cause of the disease is not yet known.

“We don’t know until now the cause of this mysterious acute hepatitis in the world. Hepatitis A and B vaccines, of course, have not been able to prevent this mysterious illness,” he explained.

In this regard, pediatricians reveal how to prevent the transmission of this acute hepatitis disease. It is suspected that the virus infects through the digestive and respiratory tracts of children.
