To the delight of this growing population of 12 million, Ayoba has been made available to them. It is a value-added application that facilitates their communications on the web. For Riad Mezi, Marketing Director, “Ayoba is a free application that beats WhatsApp” It offers digital services such as: music, games, sports, cooking, news… for free. On the occasion, Riad invited subscribers to “test ayoba and take advantage of all its features”. Already, on the counter, there are 2 million subscribers connected to this application.

The financial inclusion of its subscribers also remains one of MTN Cameroon’s concerns. To give them more confidence, mobile money is here, in its new revised and corrected version. Alain Nono, Managing Director of Mtn Mobile Money corporation gave the figure “We have reached 5 million subscribers with a Mobile Money Momo account” a consolidated figure which represents a quarter of subscribers in the rest of Central Africa. The credit goes to MTN Cameroon subscribers who will benefit for a month from “50 percent reduction on remittance fees”
