Callisto protocol updates should fix stuttering and bad…

Last week’s launch of The Callisto Protocol probably didn’t go quite as well as Striking Distance had hoped, with much criticism aimed particularly at the performance of the PC version. How PC gamer he writes, user reviews on Steam have been very negative, but the developer has caught up in recent days.

Via Twitter, Striking Distance announces several updates that are now available on all platforms. These are mainly aimed at improving the stuttering and poor image flow, which according to some players made The Callisto Protocol almost unplayable.

On Friday, game manager Glen A. Schofield explained that the problems are due to an error made by the development team. Someone in a bit of a hurry would fit in the wrong file, Skrev Schofield.

The updates have resulted in improved user reviews of the game, which they are at the time of writing 56% positive on Steam. Striking Distance admits that there is still a lot of work to be done to improve the gaming experience for everyone.
