Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players are again furious with hidden changes in the new update

Infinity Ward rekindles community anger Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for making undocumented changes.

After a month of waiting, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players finally got a new patch in the form of Update 1.13. The download size was huge for the crossbow, and five additional slots. That’s all about the new content.

But what the players did not count on was hidden changes. Since the launch of Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward has been in the habit of making changes that are not mentioned in the patch notes. Everything from damage and recoil settings to changes in game cards was done in the game in the past without an announcement.

Players then discover these changes on their own, which inevitably creates confusion, since you never understand what is the intended change and what is just a mistake. In the past few months, some have made a commitment to essentially explore the possibilities of the game in order to see if anything not mentioned in the patch notes has changed.

The patch notes that appeared in the game did not reveal several key changes. For example, one of the new Crash maps has been adjusted and now offers less cover for players crashing there. The lens capture panel now attenuates a bit, with ADS, and its position is adjusted so as not to block too much of the center of the screen.

These are good changes that are easy to see, but others are not so obvious. For example, goal scoring is no longer counted during reloads with the Field Upgrade perk, but only for kills. There is also something strange that happens with Stopping Power Rounds, which was supposed to be fixed in the patch, but eventually got a nerf. In both of these cases, no one knows what is happening.

Players are disappointed, and this gave way to a ton of misinformation, not to mention how poorly the game is perceived, when all you see is complaints about the lack of notes in the patches every time an update comes out.
