A dangerous weather code orange or yellow was issued for Sunday for most of the country. The information comes from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), cited by BTA.
Announced a code orange for heavy rains for Blagoevgrad, Smolyan and Kardzhali districts. In Smolyan and Kardzhali, in addition to rain, meteorologists also warn of strong winds.
A yellow code for precipitation has also been announced in seven other regions of the country: Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia region, Pazardzhik and Pernik.
In 13 other areas a yellow code was issued for high winds. These are Plovdiv, Lovech, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Sliven, Yambol, Burgas, Varna, Shumen, Razgrad, Silistra and Dobrich regions. In the Haskovo district, in addition to the yellow code for heavy rain, a strong wind was also announced.
