At just 18 years old, the native of Noumea, who won a sports excellence scholarship to study in the United States, can finally fly to Missouri, visa in pocket. “It’s a relief, the stress falling, because that was the last piece I missed“, launches the sportsman.

Victorious at the 2021 omnium, champion of New Caledonia, his swing makes him one of the young prodigies of golf on the Caillou. Djaïa now wants to aim higher. Whoever started golf at the age of eight in his club in Tina, will study finance and sports management.
