Federal government outlines suspension of non-priority work

The federal government will suspend its non-priority work from 23 of March and up to April 19th, as a measure to face the pandemic of coronavirus.

The Health Secretary published the draft Agreement that suspends work in the Federal Public Administration in all non-essential areas.

“The heads of federal public institutions must identify the areas that will continue to provide the services that they are responsible for on a daily basis and that are essential to face the emergency situation, in order to guarantee sufficiency, opportunity and continuity in the provision of services and provision of indispensable goods, “says the Agreement.

Also, the federal authorities are ordered to guarantee the continuous operation of the transport and, therefore, the ports, airports, roads and highways will continue to operate.

The Agreement mentions that measures have been taken that have slowed down the spread of the virus, including the National Sana Distancia Day.
