The Malherbe Normandy Kop (MNK), one of the main supporters clubs of the Stade Malherbe de Caen (Calvados), which plays in Ligue 2, calls its members who can not to ask for the reimbursement of their subscription! As we know, the Coronavirus crisis led to the interruption of sports championships. There were 5 games left to Caen to play at home … which the fans will never see. However, subscribers have previously paid to watch these matches. They can therefore legally claim compensation for these tickets.

But, “faced with the financial difficulties looming for all football clubs in these times of crisis, the MNK calls on a maximum of subscribers to waive any reimbursement of the 5 missing games if they can afford it. It is also a way of reminding that we are not customers but that we are an integral part of the club, “explains the managers of the association.
The club, for its part, obviously warmly welcomed this initiative, recalling however that for those who wanted to be reimbursed, two possibilities were offered: either in the form of a credit, usable for eighteen months, or under the form of reimbursement but only after eighteen months…
