This day, a new version of the Plaza Pública Cadem survey, the weekly barometer of Chilean politics, was released.
68% of the universe of people surveyed declare that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they have had to face significant decreases in income at home.
Regarding the above, consulted about the aid programs that the government has promoted, 36% state that they have benefited from food boxes, 18% by the employment protection law and 17% by emergency family income.
In that sense, 40% approve of the government’s management in the face of the Covid-19 crisis. This is the best result recorded since April 30.
However, the percentage changes when queried for the general management of Sebastián Piñera. A 27% approve (3 percentage points more than last week) and 62% disapprove.

And about the future? 79% of those surveyed believe that it is very or quite probable that the manifestations of the social outbreak will return once the pandemic is overcome. Although if they would agree or not, 43% are in favor and 55% against.
