According to the prime minister, things mainly go wrong in the private sphere. For birthdays, neighborhood drinks and groups of friends. That is why the cabinet has come up with ‘very, very, very urgent advice’: no longer organize home parties or drinks, but rent a catering room.
Prime Minister Rutte: “It feels safe to each other, but it is a false sense of security. And if you do receive people at home, a maximum of six guests applies.” Children under 12 years of age excluded.
There is no maximum number of visitors for party halls, catering establishments or funeral halls, but these locations must comply with strict rules and this is also enforced more.
Keep working from home

Relaxation of quarantine

There was still a small positive relaxation. The government has adopted the OMT’s advice to shorten the quarantine period from two weeks to 10 days.
