Cabinet allocates 33 million for extra staff in asylum reception | Inland

Minister Hanke Bruins Slot (Internal Affairs) wrote this to the House of Representatives on Tuesday. The money will be divided among the 25 security regions. The cabinet already promised extra capacity on 1 July, but it is now clear how much money is involved. This is a maximum amount. How much money security regions actually spend partly depends on the number of civil servants that are deployed, according to Bruins Slot.

With the money, each security region can attract a maximum of thirty employees for a period of three months. According to Bruins Slot, this group may include government officials who are temporarily deployed, but also people recruited by employment agencies. A total of 1050 employees would be able to work.
