By-election to Rada / GORDON to be held on March 28 in Ukraine

On March 28, Ukraine will elect people’s deputies in two single-mandate constituencies.

On March 28, in two single-mandate constituencies – number 50 in the Donetsk region and number 87 in the Ivano-Frankivsk region – midterm elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine will be held, recalled press service of the Central Election Commission.

Polling stations will open at 8:00 and close at 20:00. The CEC recalled that on the night of March 28 Ukraine switches to daylight saving time – at 3.00 the clock hands will move forward one hour.

Voting will take place in 112 polling stations in the 50th constituency and in 117 precincts in the 87th constituency.

The results of the midterm elections to the Rada must be established no later than the fifteenth day from voting day, that is, until April 12 inclusive, the CEC noted.

According to preliminary estimates, 295 thousand voters can vote, they will choose among 32 candidates. Initially CEC registered 34 candidates, but then canceled registration the candidate from the “European Solidarity” Marusya Zveroboy-Bilenkaya in the constituency # 87 and the candidate from the “Opposition Platform – For Life” Artem Marchevsky in the constituency # 50.

The CEC has appointed midterm elections to the Verkhovna Rada in districts No. 50 and No. 87 due to the fact that the people’s deputies elected in these districts are non-factional Ruslan Trebushkin and the people’s deputy from the “Servant of the people” Zinovy ​​Andriyovich – folded the mandates. Andriyovich won the election of the mayor of Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Trebushkin, the election of the mayor of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
