Her biography is interesting and doesn’t fit in with hip Zurich at all: Serap Kahriman’s parents come from Turkey, and the now 30-year-old grew up in Toggenburg. She completed an apprenticeship as an ornamental plant gardener, on her second educational path she became a lawyer. Today Kahriman works in the legal department of a large insurance company in the Zurich area. So far, she has not held any political office.
