The Swiss Bankers Association under President Marcel Rohner is now banking on the disrupted relationship with Raiffeisen, the third largest banking group in Switzerland. Former Raiffeisen President Guy Lachappelle had made the exit of Raiffeisen from the banking association with a loud roar. Lachappelle has been gone since summer, now Thomas A. Müller is the new Raiffeisen President. According to insiders, this raises the hope that Müller could lead Raiffeisen back into the ranks of the bankers association.
