SINGAPORE, iNews.id – Philippines National Team winning 6-0 over Timor Leste in the first round of Group A AFF Cup 2020, Saturday (11/12/2021) afternoon WIB. Victory is now in sight.
Competing at The National Stadium, the Azkals – the nickname of the Philippines – dominated the match. They made Timor Leste not move with the barrage of attacks they launched so that they were able to score six goals in the first half.
The course of the match
The Philippines immediately stepped on the gas at the beginning of the first half. Just one minute, they have got two chances.
The first, came from Patrick Reichelt’s less-than-perfect kick that could be caught easily by Aderito. Then, the second was Guirado’s hard kick which was still narrowly wide on the left side of the goal.
Twelve minutes of the game running, the Philippines again threatened the goal of Timor Leste. This time through Ingreso’s hard kick from outside the penalty box, but unfortunately the ball he kicked was still not on target.
